World famous Lightning Bolt surfboards were established on the Hawaiian North Shore in 1971 and became the surfing name of the 70's.. An old school classic film from 1970 « Free Ride » staring Gerry Lopez, Rory Russel, Rabbit and Mark Richard, riding Lightning Bolt surfboards introduced us to the surfing legends of our day.
